One Thriving World Awarded a Do Good Institute Mini-Grant

By Maria Stepanyan, Founder and CEO

One Thriving World awarded a Do Good Institute Mini-Grant to support the Healthy Heroes Challenge.

One Thriving World is excited to share that we have been awarded a Mini-Grant from the Do Good Institute, supporting the launch of our first global health initiative, the Healthy Heroes Challenge.

This support comes at a pivotal moment as we prepare to bring the Healthy Heroes Challenge to life. The program is designed to equip middle school students in Armenia with practical nutrition and healthy lifestyle skills through interactive, game-based learning. By focusing on early education at a critical stage of habit formation, the Healthy Heroes Challenge aims to reduce preventable health risks and empower youth to make informed choices that support long-term wellbeing.

The Mini-Grant will help us prepare and deliver the first session of the Healthy Heroes Challenge this spring. Funding will support curriculum development, materials, and program implementation as we work closely with Armenian partners to ensure the program is culturally relevant, engaging, and impactful.

Beyond financial support, the Do Good Institute provides a strong ecosystem for student-led initiatives that are ready to move from idea to action. Being part of this community allows us to learn, reflect, and continuously improve as we build a program focused on measurable outcomes and real-world impact.

Receiving this Mini-Grant represents an important step forward for One Thriving World as we transition from planning into direct program delivery. We are motivated to use this opportunity to strengthen the Healthy Heroes Challenge and continue working toward our broader mission of promoting health equity and empowering youth through education.
