At our first Mini Healthy Heroes Challenge with Homenetmen Washington DC, participants took part in interactive activities focused on nutrition, healthy habits, and teamwork. Through games, creative challenges, and hands-on learning, the group strengthened their understanding of healthy living while having fun and working together.
One Thriving World at Georgetown University
One Thriving World recently partnered with Georgetown University to present the Healthy Heroes Challenge and share our mission for advancing public health equity. The visit also marked a major milestone as we were officially approved as a Georgetown University supplier, opening the door for expanded collaboration across the DMV’s university community.
One Thriving World Awarded a Do Good Institute Mini-Grant
One Thriving World was selected as a Do Good Institute Mini-Grant recipient in support of the Healthy Heroes Challenge. The grant will help advance our first global health initiative as we prepare to launch nutrition and healthy lifestyle education for middle school students in Armenia.
